They continue in the canter and work on the canter half pass. Gary explains how they need to have more quick, collecting steps, and the half pass improves as they keep the bend through the corner, bringing it onto the diagonal. He points out that its the girth that has to move sideways in the movement. They return to a beautiful sitting trot and then apply the same principles to the trot half pass.
