After a walk break, Courtney points out that the horses tendency is to slow down when the rider picks up the reins again, so they work on getting a prompt reaction from the first moments.  Courtney encourages the rider to expect a bigger response, and to use stronger aids after asking first with the aids desired for the transition. The gelding becomes more in front of the leg and quicker to respond.
