Part 3: Jimmy and Sharon challenge the horse with some more difficult lines and with the inclusion of the water element. When the horse fails to listen to a half halt into a bounce, they discuss the balance between making sure the horse completes what is asked, without risking him breaking down to the trot as he tends to get behind the leg. Sharon explains how useful her voice is as an aid, and she sues this successfully at the coffin and the water with visible results. Both Jimmy and Sharon agree that over winter the horse can benefit from lots of loose rein gymnastics to help his self carriage.
