Part 3: Clayton takes his mare to some new fences to test what they've covered so far. The horse struggles with confidence to bigger drop and a chevron with brush. Clayton goes back tot he training exercise, adding the wings back in and demonstrating how as a rider, the horse's confidence can be built up softly by repetition so they have the tools to complete the fence. As the mare's confidence grows she is able to complete the exercise and Clayton rewards her. He reminds viewers that patience and consistency are key with young horses, and explains his plan going forward, to build this mares confidence further before putting her under pressure in a competitive setting.
