Chrissa Hoffmann brings us a lesson with her student, Courtney, and her thirteen year old Arab mare, Tess, who is currently beginning to show Grand Prix. This is a great opportunity to watch an amateur on a non-Warmblood that she has brought along herself. In the warm up they do transitions within the gaits, making sure to keep the power. In the half pass they think medium trot, and work on keeping the power. Courtney expresses concern that the mare tightens up in the work, and Chrissa offers tips to help with that. They show great trot half passes.
