Part 1: Buck Davidson works with a group of riders on their young horses, who have an event in a few days to share the routine he uses before he puts his horses on the plane for competition. He explains that in these final prep rides he focuses on reinforcing basics, and building confidence. Working over a course of jumps, Buck encourages the riders to use more leg and reinforce it to make sure they are getting a response coming into the jump. By keeping the horse moving forward, the rider can sit back in a stronger position for the fence.
