Part 1: Bruce explains that he first likes to see a young horse free schooling to ascertain where they are balanced and comfortable, and he aims not to change this balance. To teach horses to jump, Bruce likes to see what they have to offer natural and build from there. They work through one of the young horses being looky as they warm up at the canter. Bruce focuses on creating engagement and a constant contact in the warm up.
