Ceasar has them show the free walk and talks about what a good free walk should be.  He has them ride the free walk across the diagonal while he coaches them through how to ride the transitions in and out of it. in the leg yields at the trot they work on keeping the haunches from leading and staying straight through the neck. Canter work is next, and Cesar helps them do accurate transitions  and then schools transitions within the gait.
