Part 1: Leslie talks in depth about finding strides on straight lines compared to on a bend. Giving some examples of well-known courses, Leslie illustrates why it's important not to force a certain number of strides between elements, and rather to focus on the line instead, while discussing the effect of different terrain. Riders warm up and start work over a line of three fences.
