To start the lesson, Stacia Klein Madden goes over tack and equipment that is being used and why. She then explains that she likes to do a brief warm-up before jumping. She wants the horses to move forward from the leg but that they also come back easily as the horses need to be smoothly adjustable during their equitation classes.
