A short, very heavy rainfall comes, and Laura works with the rider privately until it slows down. They worked on leg yielding off of the lead, using it to supple the horse- in other words, counter flexing in the canter while leg yielding. They next do the shoulder in on the circle and changes of collection on the circle. The next position is renvers on the circle. When the mare is resistant, they calmly keep working the exercise without a battle.
