The Influence of Rider Balance on Horse Balance | Felicitas von Neumann-Cosel
Rider Position and Aids
•
37m
Felicitas von Neumann-Cosel works with a rider on balancing her legs and seat equally on both sides. The first step is realizing when one leg is doing more work or is weighted more heavily than the other. Then there is the process of activating one while quieting the other to help the horse bend, be more upright and stay connected. She encourages the rider toœride the ribcage with the inside leg, especially in the canter and not to pull back with the hands.
