Para Equestrians | Debbie McDonald & Janet Foy | PART 02
Para Dressage
•
12m
Debbie McDonald works with the riders on improving their contact. Nathan rides with one hand and has differing strength between his legs. Debbie works with him at the walk, using counter flexion and the closing of the leg to increase the contact. They then go to the trot, showing great progress! Gloria has similar issues, and Debbie starts her in the walk also, using a flatter hand position and her strong core. She has her keep a more consistent contact until he gives, even though she may lose a bit of the trot until he figures it out. She demonstrates much better contact, and then goes to the canter. Debbie encourages her to keep the connection while asking him to go forward in the canter.
