Grand Prix trainer and competitor Lauren Sprieser demonstrates exercises she uses to introduce the one-tempi changes as well as (off the horse) what her aids are for the one-tempis. She stresses that the horse needs to be on the aids and listening and not use his power to do the changes. The horse has to be energized, but the rider cant be holding the horse up.
