There is some difficulty with getting passage instead of collected trot, and they work in the shoulder in while trying to keep the rhythm. They add in small circles as they go around the arena, and then the half pass. Jan offers him interesting advice on the position of the neck when he asks for the half pass and keeps getting a canter depart.
