Peter shows great patience and kindness in waiting for these two talented ponies to settle, giving us a great chance to see a young rider on a young pony calmly working through nervousness. Peter explains that the FEI ponies have to be working at a good Medium level, and how important the walk is in competition. As the pony stallion works in the trot, they work on transitions. When they try the trot half pass he isn't enough off the leg, so they go to a leg yield instead.
