They continue in the canter while Chrissa explains true connection and how they use haunches in to help him get his hind end under and his neck softer. They take the time to produce this and then ask for the stretch at the canter. When on a circle he tends to push into her outside aids, Chrissa helps her find how to get him straight. The next exercise is to make sure she can bend him left or right while in the canter without wagging his head. When he becomes softer and more through they ride the quarterline with an emphasis on being straight. Before a walk break they are able to ask for some collection.
