Janet has the other rider start with the walk pirouettes to the canter depart in 4-1, pointing out how similar the aids are for those two movements. The horse adds an unasked for flying change rather than continue in counter canter, and Janet gives her suggestions on how to deal with this common problem for the best score. In the extended canter she looks for straightness, and she explains the canter circle where they have to sit between the quarter lines. She finishes the session by talking about how to deal with mistakes the horse makes during training rides, and finding the right thing to do to correct the issue.
