Scott Hassler first watches this lovely long legged mare warm up with special attention to connection to the outside rein. In the canter right Scott asks her to ride a shoulder in. They play with collection making sure the shoulders stay up. She shows great ability to collect and Scott cautions the rider to first ride her through every change in speed in the collection very gradually keeping the quality of the canter because she can cheat by cantering in place rather than collecting and sacrifice the connection. When they work on the canter Scott asks for volume with a slight shoulder fore with relaxation before asking for a very, very gradual collection one mph at a time.
