Janet explains how one of the horses needs to be more compressed at this level, and how his conformation affects that. She has the other horse perform the canter half pass to centerline and then go straight. Janet talks about the diagonal aids and how to use them to bend the horse around the inside leg before asking for more collection. When one horse struggles with the canter half pass Janet has them walk to do the movement and offers advice on taking away the impulsion to get the submission needed to teach the movement.
