As it begins raining, Laura discusses the current training issues with this rider and her mare. They warm up and in the leg yield Laura asks them to think of forward and sideways equally with the shoulders leading slightly. She shows Laura her canter and then they leg yield on a circle in the canter. When they practice the trot canter transitions Laura helps them with and exercise to smooth them out. Laura talks to her about what to work on in her training to teach the mare to be freer in the shoulder and have more suspension in the trot for a medium trot.
