The rider introduces herself and her 4-year-old and as they warm up Dr. Moller has them start on their easier side while asking for the horse to go to the inside leg to outside rein. He works on the position of her elbows and shoulders, reminds her to use her legs first in the trot-halt transitions. He has them walk two steps forward and halt and then trot, checking on the responsiveness.
