Catherine rides her Grand Prix horse, showing us a daily workout. She works on the basics, making sure he is responsive to the lightest aid and stresses how this is necessary in all riding. Catherine talks about the weight aids and how they are used through the levels. She works on making sure there is an even contact in the rein, that the horse is straight, forward and connected to the bit. As she checks the single changes, she makes sure they are dead straight and even in volume. By riding down the quarterline she can tell if he deviates to one side or the other in the change.
