Felicitas uses the pads with an older horse with a history of being tense and ground shy. A firmer pad in the beginning can be a good way to start in front and some horses like the wedges behind first. This horse is experienced with the pads and Felicitas is able to show how they can be stacked. They also lunge the horse to note any differences in the way he is moving.
