They begin this lesson with work in hand, first without sidereins and then adding them. Alfredo helps them with the horse stationary against the wall. We get to see a horse in their first session of this work, and can see how this work in hand will lead to piaffe and passage. With frequent breaks and short work periods, the horse relaxes in the work a bit.
