Part 2: Mary praises a rider who shows great reaction, and manages her horse well when he comes into the bounce wrong, so they are able to complete the fence. She points out how the horse can sometimes get a little busy with his head when the questions get harder, and suggests a properly fitted running martingale. The riders make poor decisions while trying to lengthen and collect the canter to change the number of strides between fences. Mary encourages them to use these moments as learning opportunities and tailor their ride to their own individual horse and their stride as they work on jumping corners.
