Part 1: Jimmy explains the value of ground poles as a training tool, as the horse goes through the exact same process to work over those as they would over a jump. He begins with a warm up over poles and encourages the riders to go with their horse and tests their feel by asking them to identify which foot steps over the pole first. He reminds the riders of the importance of getting their horse to respect their aids, and making the right answer very rewarding.
