Part 2: Hawley discusses technique for jumping a skinny, reminding the riders to get to the base of the jump and come in with their legs on from a really bouncy canter. The riders jump around a course including the canter poles, and Hawley works with them to ride all the way to each fence, rather than sitting down on landing and getting lazy. By keeping the elbow bent and the hips moving, the riders have more flowing rounds. Hawley encourages them to visualize canter poles going into all of their fences to get a more bouncy canter on approach.
