Part 3: Doug sets a new course, including the water element. The first rider has issues with her horse coming into the fence too weak, losing power, and going long as a result. Doug has her tighten up her position, planning and aids to help avoid this. The second rider's horse gets a little anxious, and Doug works with her to be the confident leader he needs by riding more, bending him into the outside rein, and using inside leg to push him into the jump without letting him get too fast. Doug emphasizes the importance of keeping the horses soft and rideable as they school around the different elements of the course.
