Mimi Stanley returns with a new video where she rides an Arabian-Saddlebred cross now coming to dressage. She explains what issues and strengths she finds specific to this breed and background.

Mimi now works in the trot, starting with a more balanced trot and incorporating leg yields while avoiding his tendency to rush. She talks about what was expected of him when he was ridden in the hunter and saddle-seat disciplines.

During a walk break Mimi describes the issues they have in the canter where he falls on the inside shoulder and leans. She rides both leads and uses short times in canter, counter flexion and many transitions to improve the gait.
